We are happy to report that member meetings are beginning again on June 15. We will meet at 6:00 PM at the Waldo Mill Pond Park for a cookout and casual conversation. We plan to get back on a regular meeting schedule. Watch this space for the July date and location.
Our June workday was Saturday the 12th. We had a group of eight hearty souls working hard removing downed trees from about 200 yards of Ben Nutt creek just up from the confluence with The Onion River. It is amazing how much can get done in a short amount of time with a group of hard workers. Next work day we will finish opening up this high potential spring creek. In coming work days, we'll begin bank reinforcement, placement of half logs and other structure improvements. This is one of several habitat projects that we are working on this summer.
